Now I am a massive fan of Leica camera’s just purely they are very rare and expensive because of their build and also give probably the best picture money can buy!

So how pleased was I to find out that there is a new Leica V-Lux 30 super-zoom digital compact camera, perfect for discovering surprising new perspectives on the world. This new model features a distinctively clean Leica design and minimalist black matt styling, the craziest feature of this  camera is it has GPS recording and touch-screen operation, and offers a wealth of options, but is still compact and light enough to slip into a jacket pocket or small bag.

It has an impressive 16x zoom, touch-screen controls, 3D photos and GPS tagging, together with outstanding image quality and HD video, make this high performance digital camera this camera also comes easy-to-use software packages that are included with the camera: Adobe® Photoshop® Elements 9 for image editing, enhancement and organisation, and Adobe® Premiere® Elements 9 for video editing and production.

twitterfacebookrss GADGETS → SONY S1 & S2 TABLETS

2 nd May 2011

It seems the tablet market is getting ridiculous, there are so many models out there from different brands it is very difficult to choose which is the best to go for.

Sony S1 & S2 Tablets (£TBA). Running the latest version of Android 3.0, both tablets will offer Wi-Fi and 3G/4G connectivity, DLNA functionality, PlayStationSuite support, and a 9.4-inch screen on the S1, which also offers universal remote control functionality, or two 5.5-inch screens on the S2.

This will do well if people become tired of the whole Apple monopoly and are not interested in the Ipad.

twitterfacebookrss GADGETS → Cobra PhoneTag

2 nd May 2011

There are so many people who need this including me- I had a friend who spent over half an hour looking for his keys and was late to an event, only to find them in his garden…..that is a real crazy one!

The Cobra PhoneTag ($60) does exactly that, using a Bluetooth connection between the included dongle and your iPhone, Android device, or BlackBerry to let you know if your tagged item has left the vicinity. It immediately sends you an email or text message with GPS coordinates when it happens, and works the other way around, too, letting you “ring” your smartphone from the PhoneTag. Just don’t place your phone in the bag that’s got the PhoneTag on it, or you’ll be completely screwed.

twitterfacebookrss GADGETS → The new PC’s

28 th March 2011

I saw this on the net earlier and it completely took my by surprise, how is it that computers have come so far from the big bulky thinga that would literally break a table because they were so incredibly heavy! People in Japan have been working on this for a few years and they are ready to begin rolling it out to the masses!

Here is how it works:

In the revolution of miniature computers, scientists have made great developments with

Bluetooth technology…

This is the forthcoming computer you can carry in your pocket.

This ‘pen-like instrument’ produces both the monitor
as well as the keyboard on any flat surfaces from where
you can carry out functions you would normally do
on your desktop computer.

twitterfacebookrss GADGETS →HTC EVO 3D

28 th March 2011

Wow,, this is amazing, I don’t know what to say about mobile phones they’re just moving so incredibly quick that it is so so difficult to keep up with them! The HTC is supposed to be the best phone on the current market with its android operating system being better than Blackberry and Apple’s Iphone put together.

TheHTC EVO 3D (£TBA) is like a 3D version of the EVO 4G, sporting a 4.3-inch, QHD glasses-free 3D display, a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, dual five-megapixel rear cameras, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing cam for video chat, 3G/4G mobile hotspot capability, 4GB of internal storage and 1GB of RAM, and the standard assortment of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

I think this is going to be my next phone…..

twitterfacebookrss GADGETS → RIM’s PlayBook gives iPad a run for its money

24 th March 2011

I know what you’re thinking, there are so many tablet computers out at the moment which one to go with, I would say stay away from the Ipad just because they are releasing a new model once a year and it is difficult to keep up with it. There is thr Samsung Galaxy Tab which is a definite front runner, but for me the Playbook from Blackberry is the way forward!

OK, this is BIG as the Playbook just got priced.

Research In Motion announced the BlackBery PlayBook tablet with great fanfare seven monthsago. Company executives have been mum on its exact pricing all this time, except vague hints that the gizmo will price-match Apple’s tablet. With the beefier iPad 2 now making rounds at the same starting price of $499 and with Samsung’s rival Galaxy Tab adjusting itself to the pricing pressure from Cupertino, RIM has officially joined the fray by price-matching the iPad.

The PlayBook costs $499/$599/$699 for the 16/32/64GB WiFi model, the same as iPad 2. Best Buy is now taking pre-orders for the device as we speak.
